Getting Started with Doctor Pro Partner for Jira

Step 1: Request Access via the Custom Portal

To begin using Doctor Pro Partner for Jira, you will need to request access via our custom portal. You’ll receive a private link that’s generated specifically for your organization. To request your private link, visit:

Once you submit your request, you’ll receive a personalized link for installing Doctor Pro Partner for Jira in your Jira instance. This link will allow you to manage your clients' Jira instances directly through our platform without the need for client-side installation.

Step 3: Open App

Once you click on “Apps->Doctor Pro Partner for Jira” the dashboard window will promptly appear. However, immediately after completing a fresh installation, it’s important to note that there will be no report data available. This is a normal occurrence as the app requires some time to gather and analyze data from your client Jira instance.

Step 4: Connect to client instance

To access the settings, simply navigate to the left side panel and click on the “Settings” option. It’s conveniently placed for easy access, allowing you to configure and personalize your preferences with a few simple clicks.
Now it is time to connect to client site.

🔑 To use Doctor Pro Partner for Jira, you must have Jira Administrator privileges on the client’s Jira instance. This ensures you have the necessary permissions to perform audits, cleanups, and optimizations.

🔒 For enhanced security, OAuth 2.0 is used during the integration process, ensuring that all connections are secure and data access is protected.

Step 5: Start diagnosis

Go back to Docboard and click “Diagnose system

⏱️ Diagnosis Duration: Depending on the size and complexity of the client’s Jira instance, the diagnosis process can take anywhere from a few minutes to few hours. Larger instances with more data and configurations may require additional time to complete the analysis.
