How to enable AI Assistant

The Agile AI Assistant for Jira will be available at the issue level in top bar.

After clicking button under ticket description there will be open panel

Agile AI Assistant is creating content based on you description in the issue.

Story crafting

Below is sample of the content prepared to Craft story. Content might very depends on issue type.

To create a content you have to click Craft story button.

Afterwards issue description is sent to AI to generate content. You will see placehoder which indicates ongoing action. It might take up to one minute.

After some waiting we have produced story with Summary, Acceptance Criteria and Definition of Done. If you are happy you can click + Append to ticket description. It will automatically append content to the description which will enable it for editting.

Convert story to checklist

After revisting description of the issue you can convert your acceptance criteria to checklist which will help you to quickly tick off acceptance criteria. Please note this option is only available for Story issue type. If after generation you need to change your AC (rephrase, add new, remove) you can regenerate checklist.

Assessment of the issues

Apart from crafting stories Agile AI Assistant for Jira is enabling you to perform assessment of the issue which will perform scan of your story and provides insight how to improve stories. You can do it from main menu or from Assessment tab.

After clicking you have to wait up to 1 minute to retrive the result.

After some waiting you can see what kind of tips can be applied to your issue. Below is sample result of this action.
