To integrate the Agile AI Assistant into your Jira environment and optionally configure it with your own ChatGPT REST API key, follow these steps:

1. Installing Agile AI Assistant from the Atlassian Marketplace

  1. Access the Atlassian Marketplace:

  2. Search for Agile AI Assistant:

    • In the search bar, type "Agile AI Assistant" and press Enter.

  3. Select the App:

    • From the search results, click on "Agile AI Assistant for Jira" to view its details.

  4. Install the App:

    • Click the "Get it now" or "Try it free" button.

    • Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation process.

  5. Confirm Installation:

    • Once installed, the Agile AI Assistant will be available in your Jira instance, ready for configuration.

2. Configuring the REST API Key for Custom ChatGPT Integration (Optional)

If you prefer to use your own ChatGPT model via a REST API, configure the Agile AI Assistant as follows:

  1. Access Agile AI Assistant Settings:

    • In Jira, navigate to the "Apps" section in the left navigation bar.

    • Find "AI Assistant" in the list.

    • Click on "Configure" to access the app's settings.

  2. Enter Your REST API Key:

    • In the configuration page, locate the section labeled "Assistant model"

    • Enter your ChatGPT REST API key in the designated field.

  3. Save Configuration:

    • Click "Save" to apply the settings.

  4. Confirm Integration:

    • The Agile AI Assistant will now utilize your specified ChatGPT model for AI-driven functionalities within Jira.
