AI FAQ
We understand that AI-driven features in Doctor Pro for Jira may raise some questions. That’s why we’ve compiled a list of frequently asked questions to clarify how AI works in our app:
1. How does AI work in Doctor Pro for Jira?
Doctor Pro for Jira includes an optional AI-powered analysis designed to assist with custom field and status management. If AI is enabled, our system processes custom field names and status names using a custom NumPy-based algorithm and Google Translate for language recognition and similarity analysis. No other Jira data is sent for AI processing.
2. Is any personal data (PII) processed by AI?
No. Doctor Pro for Jira does not process usernames, user IDs, or any personally identifiable information (PII) outside of Jira. The AI functionality is strictly limited to analyzing field and status names.
3. What features use AI in Doctor Pro for Jira?
AI is used to enhance the Custom Fields Report and Statuses Report, helping to detect similar field names, identify redundant configurations, and support language recognition.
4. Does Doctor Pro for Jira use customer data for AI training?
No. Our AI does not train on customer data. The algorithm operates in a predefined, static manner, meaning it does not learn or store any data after processing.
5. Can I disable the AI functionality?
Yes. AI processing is entirely optional. If you prefer to work without AI-driven recommendations, you can disable AI in the settings.
6. Will I lose functionality if I disable AI?
No. All core features remain available even if AI is turned off. Since version 8, Doctor Pro for Jira includes a manual field merging option, allowing users to manage field similarities and duplicates without AI assistance.
